Bästa textraderna

Jag läste idag om en omröstning de haft i England, det handlade om tidernas bästa textrader. I deras omröstning hade U2 vunnit, med en rad från "One". Jag gillar inte U2, men den låten är helt okej. Som vanligt när jag ser listor så börjar jag fundera över hur min lista skulle se ut. Att lista textrader är enormt svårt, dels för att det finns så många rader som är bra skrivna och som verkligen känns och dels för att det är svårt att bortse från musiken som ofta höjer låtar. Jag har utan inbördes ordning i alla fall plockat fram några rader från olika låtar som jag verkligen gillar:

Idel upplyftande textrader från låtar som jag verkligen gillar, det här är rader som höjer låtarna till nya nivåer. Jag skulle kunna hålla på och lista textrader länge till, speciellt när det gäller Morrissey som skrivit så många genialiska texter att det nästan är omänskligt. Jag har inte skrivit raderna ovan i någon rankingordning, men om jag ska välja en nummer ett så blir det nog frasen från låten som är dagens låt.
